ThunderWar is optimized for the following modern browsers. For the best arena experience, ensure your browser meets these minimum requirements.

Our recommended browser for the ultimate ThunderWar experience. Chrome delivers the best performance for our arcade modules with smooth animations and fast load times.
Version 88+
Firefox provides excellent compatibility with ThunderWar. Its strong privacy features complement our platform's minimal data approach for a secure experience.
Version 14+
Safari on macOS and iOS is fully supported. ThunderWar's responsive design ensures a great experience on all Apple devices from iPhones to MacBooks.
Version 90+
The modern Chromium-based Edge browser runs ThunderWar flawlessly. If you are on Windows, Edge is an excellent choice for entering the arena.
If ThunderWar is not loading correctly, try these steps in order: (1) Refresh the page using Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to perform a hard refresh that bypasses cached files. (2) Clear your browser cache and cookies, then reload. (3) Try opening ThunderWar in a private/incognito window. (4) Ensure your browser is updated to at least the minimum supported version listed above.
If the age verification modal appears every time you visit, your browser may be blocking localStorage or clearing it between sessions. Check your browser privacy settings and ensure that local storage is enabled for thunderwargaming.com. If you are using private/incognito mode, local storage is typically cleared when the window closes -- this is expected behaviour.
If the Rise of Olympus: Thunder Protocol module or any other arcade experience is not responding, ensure that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings. Our modules require JavaScript to function. Also verify that no browser extensions (such as ad blockers or script blockers) are interfering with the page. Try disabling extensions temporarily to test.
If the page layout appears broken or elements are overlapping, check your browser zoom level -- it should be set to 100% for the intended experience. On mobile devices, try rotating your device or ensuring you are not in a zoomed-in view. If the issue persists, try a different supported browser to determine if the problem is browser-specific.
ThunderWar is built to run smoothly on most devices, but if you are experiencing lag or slow performance: (1) Close unnecessary browser tabs to free up memory. (2) Ensure your internet connection is stable. (3) Disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings if you experience graphical glitches. (4) Restart your browser completely before trying again.
ThunderWar runs entirely in your web browser, so there are no special hardware requirements beyond what is needed to run a modern browser. Any desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone manufactured in the last five years should handle ThunderWar without any issues. A stable internet connection is recommended for the best experience, though our pages are optimized for efficiency.
